Do not take my word for any of it
The hardest objection an independent publisher faces is not whether the writing is good — it is whether the traffic is real. Every figure on this site is mapped below to the artefact that proves it, and four of the ten need nothing from me at all.
Claim → evidence
Ten claims, ten artefacts
A screenshot is a claim. A dashboard seat is evidence. Where a read-only seat exists, that is what you get.

| Claim | Evidence | How you get it | Turnaround | Needs me? |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Website sessions, users and engagement time | Google Analytics 4 property, read-only user access | Viewer role granted to your work email for 14 days | Within 1 business day | Independent |
| Search impressions, clicks and query mix | Google Search Console, verified-owner property | Delegated read access, or a live screenshare of the raw property | Within 1 business day | Independent |
| Traffic acquisition split and the zero-paid-traffic claim | GA4 acquisition report, unsampled, with a full date range export | CSV export plus the same view inside the live property | Within 1 business day | Independent |
| Newsletter subscriber count, opens, clicks and unsubscribes | ESP dashboard, plus the double opt-in confirmation log | Read-only seat, or screenshare of the account overview | Within 2 business days | Independent |
| YouTube subscribers, views and traffic sources | YouTube Studio analytics, including the external-sources report | Live screenshare — YouTube does not support read-only delegation for this view | Scheduled within 3 business days | Screenshare |
| Domain authority, backlink profile and referring domains | Ahrefs / Semrush report on the domain | You run it yourself — no access from me required | Immediate, independently | Independent |
| Traffic volume corroboration from outside my own analytics | Similarweb estimate for the domain | You run it yourself. Expect ±30% against GA4 — I will explain any larger gap | Immediate, independently | Independent |
| Content is genuinely mine and predates its use | Wayback Machine snapshots and per-review changelog dates | Public archive — check any URL yourself | Immediate, independently | Independent |
| Identity of the person behind the pen name | Government ID, business registration and tax documentation | Under a mutual NDA, direct to your compliance team only | Within 3 business days of NDA execution | Independent |
| Conversion quality and refund behaviour on past campaigns | Network-side reporting from existing programmes | You request it from the network directly — it is their data, not mine | Depends on the network | Independent |
All figures on this site cover 30 days through July 31, 2026 unless stated otherwise on the page.
Traffic composition
Where the traffic actually comes from
The claim that matters most to a network is the one about paid traffic. It is zero, and the acquisition report will show you that on any date range you pick — including one I did not know you were going to choose.

The uncomfortable questions
Written the way compliance teams actually phrase them
Softening the question defeats the purpose of answering it. These are the objections that come up in every onboarding call, in the words they usually arrive in.
Your media kit numbers are self-reported. Why would we believe any of them?
Similarweb shows materially less traffic than your GA4 number. Which one is lying?
Social follower counts are trivially purchased. How do we know yours are not?
You are anonymous. We do not onboard publishers we cannot identify.
How do we know the traffic you send us is not incentivised or bot-driven?
Your reviews are affiliate-monetised. Isn't the whole thing an ad?
What happens if we find a factual error in a published review?
Can you guarantee volume, or a positive review, if we sign?
Traffic policy
What I run, what I will never run
Stated in network-policy language so your compliance team can diff it against your programme terms rather than interpret marketing copy.
Permitted sources
- Organic search traffic to editorial pages
- Direct traffic and returning readers
- Opt-in email to a double-opted-in list
- Organic social posts from owned, named accounts
- Editorial referrals from third-party publications
Never used
- Paid search, display or social media buying against partner offers
- Trademark or brand-term bidding of any kind
- Incentivised traffic, coregistration, or email drops to rented lists
- Toolbars, browser extensions, adware and cookie stuffing
- Typosquatting, cloaking or redirect chains that mask the source
- Unauthorised use of partner logos, creative or trademarks
- Coupon or deal-code pages for offers I have not tested
Controls in place
- Unique sub-ID per placement so partner-side reporting can segment my traffic
- Server-to-server postback supported where the network offers it
- rel="sponsored nofollow" on every commercial link, verifiable in page source
- Monthly reconciliation of my click logs against network-reported clicks
- Immediate pause on any placement flagged for quality by a partner, questions after
Properties I do not operate
Naming these pre-empts the first question every compliance team asks.
No paid traffic, media buying or arbitrage of any kind
No browser extensions, toolbars, coupon injectors or adware
No PBNs, expired-domain networks or link farms
No incentivised, coregistration or email-drop traffic
No AI-generated review bodies published without hands-on testing
Onboarding pack
Everything your compliance team needs, in one request
Send one email and you get the whole pack. There is no gate, no lead-capture form, and no discovery call required before the documents arrive.
From execution to delivery.
Same process, references available.
On the pen name: identity documents go to your named compliance contact under mutual NDA and are never published. Writing critically about lenders in the market you live in is the reason the pen name exists — it is not evasion of verification, and every network I work with has the documents.
Mutual NDA
Mine, or yours — no preference.
Government ID & business registration
Under NDA, to compliance only.
W-8BEN / local tax documentation
Completed and returned within 3 business days.
Read-only GA4 + Search Console access
Granted to a named work email, time-limited.
Traffic-source declaration
Signed statement matching the policy above.
Sample placement with live sub-ID
So attribution is proven before volume.
Named compliance contact
One person, one inbox, business-hours ICT.
Compliance enquiries · response within 24 hours
