Well-built and honestly specified — but the stability claim quietly assumes you are shorter than the desk's own maximum height.

Full disclosure policy122 days of daily use. The frame is genuinely stiff up to about 110cm and the motor is quiet and quick. Above 110cm — which is inside its own advertised range — lateral wobble becomes noticeable enough to move a monitor. If you are under about 185cm tall you will never see this. If you are taller, it is the whole review.

The wobble test
I measured lateral deflection by applying a consistent 5kg horizontal force at desk edge and recording displacement at four heights, ten trials each. Numbers below are medians.

Verso's product page says 'rock solid at any height'. That is not what I measured. It is solid across the range most people will use, and it is not solid at the top of its own range. Those are different claims and the marketing makes the stronger one.
The returns test
I returned the desk at day 96 — inside the 100-day window — specifically to document the process, then repurchased it. Collection was booked in three days, no restocking fee was charged, and the refund landed six days after collection. This is the part of a furniture purchase most likely to go wrong and it went right.
Verdict
Recommended, with a height caveat that the vendor should be making itself. Under 185cm you are getting a stiff, quiet, well-made desk at a fair price with a returns process that actually works. Over that, look at a heavier frame — and note that I am saying this on a page Verso paid for.
